Children's Choirs

Children ages 3 through 5th grade are welcomed and encouraged to join the choirs at Morningside Presbyterian:

CHERUB CHOIR (3-6 YEAR OLDS)

TREBLE CHOIR (1ST THROUGH 5TH GRADE)

Children’s choirs meet Sunday mornings in Room 001 for various sessions during the school year. Children learn hymns and anthems which they sing in worship services. Learning how to sing as a group and how to be worship leaders through music is important. They learn the rudiments of music—keeping steady rhythms and learning to match pitch using Solfege methods. They also prepare to lead the congregation in worship for special services including the Children’s Christmas Pageant in December and Children’s Sabbath worship service each spring.
