Holding degrees in music from both Furman University and Boston University, internationally renowned singer Megan Reader brings her creative, organizational, and administrative skills in full force to MPC’s office. Megan manages many tasks — communications, publications, and building use — while also being a warm and welcoming face to all those who visit Morningside (all while juggling and spinning plates too).
In addition to serving as church administrator, Megan can be seen leading the chancel choir as soprano section leader. Away from MPC, Megan is the mother of two beautiful toddlers — Emmett, a sweet southern gentleman with a penchant for school buses, and Maggie, possibly the most judgmental baby you will ever meet. Megan also performs regularly at events around Atlanta — gracing all those in attendance with her magnificent singing voice.
