We encourage parents considering Morningside Presbyterian Preschool to learn more about the school and observe the classes in action by scheduling a tour during the fall or any time throughout the school year. You may call the office at 404/685-8758 and ask for Melinda Sandkam, Preschool Director, if you would like to schedule a tour or ask questions.  

Every effort is made to be fair and consistent in the process of enrollment at Morningside Presbyterian Preschool.  Early Registration is provided for currently enrolled families and members of Morningside Presbyterian Church.  Currently enrolled students who apply during the early registration period are guaranteed enrollment in our school, but availability for a specific class is not guaranteed.  If there are more requests for a specific class than we have space for, a lottery will be conducted to place students.  Notification of placement following early registration will be provided to parents no later than Tuesday, January 28, 2020.  After early registration, we open to the rest of the community on Friday, January 31.  Notification of placement will be provided to parents no later than February 14, 2020.  A waiting list will be kept for children not immediately placed in our program.   There is a $100 non-refundable registration fee due with the application.

2020-21 Registration Procedure


  • Early registration for church members and currently enrolled families will take place January 13-24, 2020.

  • Open registration for the community will begin January 31, 2020.

  • All registration forms may be dropped off at the Preschool starting at 8:50 a.m. on January 31.


  • Tuesday and Thursday for Toddlers

  • Tuesday and Thursday for Two-year-olds

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for Two-year-olds

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for Three-year-olds

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Three-year-olds

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Pre K (Four-year-olds)

In order for your child to attend Morningside Presbyterian Preschool, ALL forms must be signed and completed at registration. Please be complete and provide all information requested.

  • For returning students, an invoice will be sent from Quickbooks Intuit which must be paid before regsitration is complete.

  • We accept cash and checks. Please make check payable to Morningside Presbyterian Preschool.

Tuition (paid monthly one month in advance)

Toddlers: $250.00

2 Day Two-year-olds: $275.00

3 Day Two-year-olds: $350.00

3 Day Three-year-olds: $450.00

5 Day Three-year-olds: $575.00

Pre-Ks (Four-year-olds): $625.00

Extended Day (optional for two-year-olds): $9.00/day or $90/month

 An advance tuition fee is due on April 1, 2020 in order to hold a space for your child for the 2020-21 school year. This payment is applied to the May 2021 tuition.


The registration fee is non-refundable and the advance tuition fee is refundable only if all three of the following conditions are met:

  • the child moves out of the school area.

  • Morningside Presbyterian Preschool is notified by July 1, 2020.

  • the space is filled by another student.
