The Organ Returns!
During the week preceding Sunday, May 13th, a crew from Robert I. Coulter - Organbuilder returned with the rebuilt organ and started installing it. Although it wasn't ready for use on May 13th, enough had been restored by the following Sunday, May 20th, for Walter Huff to use it during worship. Even though Walter, in remarks during the worship service, pointed out that only about 30% of the organ was being used, everyone agreed that it sounded great and we look forward to hearing the complete organ! The picture at right shows workmen carrying in part of the console and the picture just below shows another part of the console.
