SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER

We will collect underwear, pj's, and socks for THREADS (a children's ministry of All-Saints Episcopal Church, and an outreach to folks who need these children's items). Contact Magan Ward with questions.

The theology group will meet in Baron's office this Thursday, February 15 at 12:30 p.m. to continue discussing Frederick Buechner's book, "Wishful Thinking."  If you plan to attend, please let Baron know baron.mullis@morningsidepc.org.
TIME AND TALENT FELLOWSHIP THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18
Want to hang out with MPC folks and make a difference in our city and our world? Want to chaperone a youth lock-in? Or, maybe you're interested in joining a small group, teaching Sunday School, or helping with Worship and the Arts? We can hook you up! At Fellowship, following worship this Sunday, February 18 our community outreach ministry shepherds, as well as, some of our own ministry teams, will be available to share some of the opportunities they have for you to get involved. Food will be served and door prizes given away.  Contact BoardofDeacons@morningsidepc.org.
HUNGER WALK AND RUN SUNDAY FEBRUARY 25
Morningside is participating in the 2018 Hunger Walk/Run, and we hope you'll join our team. Not only will we have a great time, we'll impact hunger in our community! The money we raise will help our neighbors in need, and the need is great! More than 1 in 4 Georgia children live in a home where hunger is a regular worry. Join or Donate to our Team here.
CELEBRATION!
On Friday, February 9, Morningside's treasurer, Bill Humphries, made the wire transfer that paid off Morningside's debt! We celebrated with a "mortgage burning" in worship last Sunday. Please join in thanking everyone who has worked so hard to bring Morningside to a place of greater financial sustainability. To everyone who worked on our Standing and Serving for Generations campaign, and to everyone who gave so generously to make this dream a reality, thank you!!!
