Please note: class will begin at 9:30 a.m. for this four-week series.

Parenting Class
Peter Tuuk will lead a discussion on how to describe God.

Grades 1- 5

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty."  - Maya Angelou

PRESCHOOL FUNRAISER
All are welcome to attend the Morningside Presbyterian Preschool on Friday, November 10 at Paris on Ponce (tickets are $75).  However, we know that everyone has lots of commitments and another easy way to support the Preschool is to bid on items. Click here today to find new items every day.  We know that many of the local business items appeal to all as they often go for under or just at their value.  So, if you would be eating out at one of the restaurants in the neighborhood anyway, getting car washed, animals cared for, flowers, casseroles, dry cleaning or salon or fitness services, this is a great way to snag a deal while supporting MPP.  There are also lots of great tickets to the High Museum, Atlanta History Center, Center for Puppetry Arts, Legoland and more.  And if you are seeking tickets to the Saturday, November 18, UGA vs. Kentucky game, place a bid today for 4 tickets.

COUPLES GROUP
Our next get-together is on Friday, November 10 at Morningside Kitchen. Wine and hors d'oevres will be provided, and couples will cover their own dinners.  There will be a choice of rotisserie chicken, trout or chuck roast for the main course. We will have our own space.  Please contact Kathy Bremer today if you plan to attend.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
We urge you to stay after the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, November 12, for a short Congregational Meeting for the purpose of electing elders and deacons for the Classes of 2020, to fill an elder vacancy in the Class of 2019 and to hear an act on the report from the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee.

UPCOMING MUSIC EVENT
Sunday, November 19: The Concert Choir from the University of South Carolina will lead in worship at 11 a.m., then will present a free concert at 3 p.m. Under the direction of Dr. Alicia Walker, as part of the concert the choir will sing one of choral music's most famous compositions - the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis (Collegium Regale) by Herbert Howells.

WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE
On Monday, November 27, our speaker is Emily Golub, owner and founder of Garnish & Gather. Learn about G&G's meal kits featuring chef-created recipes and food sourced from Georgia farmers. Come for dinner and fellowship at 6:30 p.mThis month's host is Lynn Young, 277 The Prado, 30309. RSVP to Sanda Means.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We provide childcare during worship for infants through kindergarten and we are looking for a few good folks to volunteer their time to play with these littlest members. We especially need help in the PreK/Kindergarten age group. We want to provide safe and fun childcare and can't do it without you! We'll have suggested activities, so no lesson planning required! Please contact Mardee Rightmyer or 404.876.7396 to volunteer.
