This Sunday Margaret Hofland will discuss a picture book based on a traditional story from Sierra Leone, West Africa. It poses the same question ancient Job must have expressed that is agonized over in every culture.


It's not too late to sign up for Montreat. Our retreat will take place Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22. The Reverend Paul Roberts, President of Johnson C. Discussions of books new and old, fiction and non, continue in September as the coed group RHO Readers invites you to join them in the Session Room at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, September 17, to talk about Jacqueline Carey's novel, Miranda and Caliban, a retelling of Shakespeare's The Tempest from the points of view of the title characters.
Tai Chi will be back in session on Tuesday, September 19 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for our 8-week session. 
It's time for One Gray Hair to resume. We will meet on Wednesday, September 20, at noon in our newly remodeled Fellowship Hall. Art Sweum will talk with us about his search for his family's history : From Norway to America, One Family's Story.
