This Sunday, Susan Hylen, professor of New Testament at Emory University, will lead the study on the lives of women in the New Testament and debunk myths about their leadership about their limitations.
PreK-K class will meet at 11 a.m. in Room 001.

As school begins and summer is slowly coming to a close so will our summer worship service. This Sunday, August 6 we will revert back to our usual 11 a.m. worship time.
Our Christian sympathy is extended to Brandon Odom on the passing of his grandmother, Dora Nell Graham. We also extend our deepest sympathy to Lauren, Elizabeth and David Fairleigh on the passing of David's brother Paul Fairleigh. Please join us in surrounding Brandon and his family along with the Fairleigh family during this time of grieving. 
We are in need of volunteers Saturday, August 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Intown Collaborative Ministries pantry to distribute food to homeless and in-need folks in our area. The pantry is located at McIver Hall beside Druid Hills Presbyterian Church. Please contact Laura Ulepor Nancy Collins if you are interested in helping. 
Mark your calendars for Morningside's fourth annual musical gala! This year's production features music from your favorite Disney movies, both old and new, and will be sure to enchant the whole family. Invite your friends and neighbors to see these performances on Saturday, August 19 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 20 at 3 p.mIt will be magical! 
Our fabulous "yoga" and Yogasculpt classes begin at Morningside on Tuesday, September 12 and Thursday, September 14, in Room 201 at 11 a.m. and runs on consecutive Tuesday and Thursday mornings for six weeks.  We are beginning our sixth year of fun and fitness! Please contact Yoga teacher and personal trainer Pam Sharpe for more information. 
Montreat offers a breathtakingly beautiful view that we wouldn't want you to miss out on. Join us Friday, October 20 - Sunday, October 22 for one unforgettable family friendly experience. The Reverend Paul Timothy Roberts Sr., President of Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA will be our speaker. Pick up your registration form in the Narthex or Welcome center this week! Spaces are filling up quickly.
