GALA EQUIPMENT NEEDED
If you have 8 light weight ice cream or wooden cabaret chairs, we would love to borrow them for the gala. Please contact Shari Tant if you can assist in this manner. 
 
JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL WORK DAY
Saturday, July 15 at 9 a.m. will be a fabulous time for us to spruce up a space at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 5140 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain 30083. Please wear clothes worthy of painting and bring gloves (plastic or work) to help prime, paint, line cabinets, buff floors, and cut ceiling tiles. If you have any of the following on hand: box cutters, scissors, 6 ft ladder, drop cloth, and measuring tape, please contact Holly Campbell to let her know what you're bringing. All painting materials and ceiling tiles will be provided through mission funds. We look forward to making a hospitable space for the second location of the highly acclaimed "Mommy and Me" early learning and language center serving refugees in Clarkson, GA.
 
PICK-A-PAN FOR CLIFTON MEN'S SHELTER
Join in to help prepare a dinner for the men at Clifton Shelter on Saturday, July 22. Please Pick-a-Pan from the Narthex on Sunday, July 16 and bring your dish to the Clifton Shelter by 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22. Contact Ann Watson here or at 404.273.9515 if you have any questions. We will have a great time sharing the evening with these men, however it is not necessary for you to stay. 
 
TIME TO CELEBRATE TEACHERS
On Wednesday, July 26 the teachers return from their summer break to prepare for their students' return...and as in years past, we want to celebrate and appreciate them with a "back to school" luncheon on their first day. If you would like tocontribute to decorations and / or help with the luncheon, please contact Leslie Prince. If you'd like the privilege of shaping the life of a child as a tutor (a once/month commitment) Baron Mullis is your contact. For any other questions, speak to shepherd Leslie Prince.  
 
MPP HAS AN OPENING
As families move, Morningside Presbyterian Preschool has had openings become available for one Three year old student and one PreK student. Tell your friends and neighbors to grab them up quickly! Contact Melinda Sandkam at 404.685.8758 or via email today. We also have a few openings for each week of summer camp still available. 
 
DONUT DAYS WITH MARDEE
Please join us for time of fellowship with Mardee this Sunday morning from 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Children's Ministries will host donuts and light refreshments on the playground and picnic area so that Mardee can continue meeting the families of the church and get to know the children better.
 
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are in need of volunteers Saturday, August 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the InTown Collaborative Ministry pantry to distribute food to homeless and in need folks in our area. The pantry is located at McIver Hall beside Druid Hills Presbyterian Church near the corner of Highland and Ponce. Please contact Laura Ulep or Nancy Collins if you are interested in helping.
