PICK-A-PAN FOR CLIFTON MEN'S SHELTER
Come hang out and share a meal with the men of Clifton!  MPC serves dinner at Clifton this Saturday, May 27 at 6 p.m. and would love for you to join us....no need to bring anything but you.....  Thanks to everyone who picked up a pan on Sunday - don't forget to drop your tasty treats off at the home of Ann and John Watson by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon or else join us at Clifton. 
 
MARK YOUR CALENDERS FOR JUNE 4TH
On this special Sunday, we welcome Mardee Rightmyer at MPC. In her honor, there will be popsicles for fellowship after church on the front lawn. Don't miss it!
 
CELEBRATE PENTECOST
Everyone is invited to a special intergenerational Pentecost activity on Sunday, June 4 at 9:45 a.m. when we will experience the joy and chaos of that first Pentecost celebration. ALL AGES are invited! Weather permitting, we will be outside. (If it rains, we will use several classrooms to add to the chaos (controlled, of course!)  This will be your chance to experience the hands-on learning style of our new DCM!
 
SUMMER YOGA IS UPON US  
Summer Yoga Classes begin on Tuesday, June 6th, at 11 a.m in Room 201.  Yogasculpt classes begin on Thursday, June 8th, at 11 am in Room 201. Please join us, and wear something cool and comfy.. the yoga is gentle and instructive, the sculpt is oriented towards strength and stretch!  For more info please contact Pam Sharpe, RYT 500. Namaste!
 
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are in need of volunteers Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Intown Collaborative Ministry pantry to distribute food to homeless and in-need folks in our area. The pantry is located at McIver Hall beside Druid Hills Presbyterian Church near the corner of N. Highland and Ponce. Please contact Laura Ulep or Nancy Collins if you are interested in helping.
 
HERO CENTRAL VBS
We are excited to say that more than 65 children will be joining us June 12-15 to discover their strength in God. More than 30 folks signed up to volunteer! We could still use additional help - either volunteering, helping set up or break down, or donating needed items and food. If you have an hour or two to spare after worship on June 11, we would love to have help setting up. CALLING ALL COOKS
If you are interested in starting a Cooking Guild, please contact Susan Oder. Whether you are a baker or soup maker, we have a place for you! When we know who is interested, we will schedule a meeting to discuss organization and plans. Come and join this fun experience.
