Children
The Good Samaritan: This is another parable that Jesus taught to people who questioned him. When Jesus told this story, the parable taught that love is not just a word - it is an action. The Samaritan put love into action. Luke 10:25-37

TAKE A PIANO...OR TWO
Two pianos at the church need good homes. They play adequately and will be of great help to those learning to play piano, or for those who want a gently used piano at a huge discount. ARTS SHOWCASE AND CAFE
You're invited to Morningside's FIRST annual Art's Cafe on Saturday, February 18. Artwork by members of the congregation will be displayed in the fellowship hall, opening at 6:30 p.m.  Come and view paintings, watercolors, photography by our Youth, ceramics, and architectural models.  At 7 p.m. the activities move to the stage with music and entertainment hosted by Alex Page who has promised to share a different side of his violin.  Who will sing Elvis'

HELP A FRIEND FIND THEIR CHURCH HOME
MPC is receiving new members this Sunday. If you know someone who has been worshiping with us a while, or a short time, please invite them to come to our new members' class on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. - perhaps even offer to accompany them - you may help your friend find their new church home!
HABITAT BUILD
If you are 16 years and older then we would like you to volunteer to build a home for the Valdez family. We will be joined by five other congregations starting on Saturday, February 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please click here for more information. 
 
WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE
Women's Roundtable will meet on Monday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. Guest speaker Sara Totonchi, Executive Director at the Southern Center for Human Rights, will discuss social justice. Women members are invited to come out for good food, good wine and great conversation. This month's host will be Sanda Means (1071 McLynn Ave. 30306). MPC SEEKING A SHEPHERD
Interested in local mission and want to work with one of Atlanta's best men's shelters? MPC is looking for a Shepherd to organize six dinners (one every other month) and one to two special collections per year for Clifton Sanctuary Ministries. Our retreat to Montreat will be October 20 - 22. The Reverend Paul Timothy Roberts Sr, President of Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA will be our guest speaker.
