Rev. Dr. Paul Smith, a veteran of the Civil Rights Movement and consultant on diversity and politics for corporations and national political thinktanks will lead us in a sacred conversation about the racial climate of this country.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
The session has called a congregational meeting following worship on Sunday, January 29. The purpose of this annual meeting is for the congregation to receive the budget as information and to hear announcements related to the life of the church. Child care will continue.

Lifetouch photographers will be at Morningside on Wednesday, February 1through Sunday, February 5, and again on Wednesday, February 8 through Sunday, February 12 to take portraits for our new church directory. To make an appointment to get your picture taken, please click here
 
REBECCA'S TENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
We still need several volunteers to warm and serve dinner at the shelter on Friday, February 10, Saturday, February 11 and Sunday February 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sign up on the Mission Board at church. Volunteers are also needed if you have "handyman skills" (painting, cabinet building, laying tiles, etc.), fundraising, office support volunteers, etc. Contact Tasho Wesley tashowesley@gmail.comexecutive director.
