Children
Talk with the Teachers: Luke tells us the story of Jesus' visit to the Temple with his parents when he was twelve years old. Encourage children to remember that no matter what age they are, they are important in the church family. They can listen and ask questions, and they can also teach and be an example for others.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
"Whatever you are, be a good one." - Abraham Lincoln
SPECIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR PreK-5TH
On Sunday, January 22, we're excited to host Terra McVoy from Decatur's Little Shop of Stories to read during our Sunday School hour. Because MPC is sponsoring a refugee family this month, we wanted to help our children learn more through stories about what it's like to be a refugee and why it is important to help out. Hope your children will attend this engaging learning opportunity. It will be in Room 001, after the Passing of the Peace until noon. For more information, contact Sarah sarah.tomaka@gmail.com.

FAMILY MISSION HELPING REFUGEE SPONSORSHIP
Thank you to our families who signed up to generously donate new and used items to help the refugee family settle into Atlanta. There are still a few remaining items, including a convertible car seat, comforters, and mattresses, needed to complete the baby and children items on the collection. Please see the sign-up genius form or email elizabethsommerfeld@gmail.com.
