9:45 a.m.
This Sunday Michael Morgan will lead the Advent Series "People, Look East!" He will introduce Advent and Christmas Songs from the Psalms into the 19th Century.

Children
We leave Exodus and read from the prophet Isaiah.  In Isaiah 11:6-9, we hear about a world where animals live peaceably together.  There is hope in these verses - hope that God's peaceable kingdom will soon arrive. Isaiah's message was to people who were living in hardship.  His description of peace brought hope to a weary world.  Our world is much different than when Isaiah lived, but we still long for hope. Let the children's enthusiasm during advent remind you that they can lead us as we work toward peace in God's kingdom.
