This Sunday, Ken Sharpe takes us through a two part series of imagery in the spiritual life.  He starts with the topic called "Symbology of the Temple of  the Sagrada Familia."

Children
Children will learn more about Moses, God's people and how God cares for all people. This Sunday we will talk about the 10 Commandments and how they provide structure for our lives and a framework within which we can know how we are to act.  God's laws are provided to help us know how to love and serve God, and how to live in relationship with each other. Exodus 19:1-20:21.

MPC COUPLES
On Friday, November 11 at 7 p.m. Ann and John Watson will host MPC Couples at their beautiful home that is located at 1397 Harvard Road, 30306. The Watsons are serving ham and turkey which means that you're welcome to bring all kinds of sides, appetizers and desserts! Please note that all are welcome! Also, save the date for MPC Couples' Christmas celebration on Friday, December 9, this year at the Bremers'. 
 
MPC & DOBBS ELEMENTARY - ALL AGES "SATURDAY SCHOOL" EVENT
Please contact Leslie Prince leslieprince@comcast.net or Tamara Nixtamaranix@alumni.duke.edu if you are interested in participating this Saturday, November 12 with Dobbs Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will become a part of a fabulous opportunity that supports Dobbs Elementary "Saturday School" program. 
 
IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO VOLUNTEER
We are asking that Volunteers please come out on Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the InTown Collaborative Ministry pantry to distribute food to the homeless and in-need folks in our area. LGBT & FRIENDS INVITES YOU
The November meeting of LGBT & Friends, LGBT Estate and Financial Planning, will be on Tuesday, November 15 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.mat the home of Christian Bromley and Christopher Crowder. Morningside will be heading over to Dobbs Elementary school at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16 to read to a child.  Following our reading time, we will be joining together for lunch, so if you're able to, please stay.  Be sure to rsvp to the office office@morningsidepc.org so that we may notify the principal of everyone's attendance. We will carpool from the church at 10:30 a.m.
