THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR
This week Morningside Presbyterian Church will be heading to Montreat for our yearly retreat!  Please keep us all in your prayers as we journey to the mountains! Dr. Mel Bringle will be our speaker during our time in Montreat.

POETRY GROUP
There are only two simple steps for joining the poetry group. Step one: Come and have fun. Step two: Always revert back to step one.  This Thursday, October 13 at 12:30 p.m., all are encouraged to come and participate with this month's poetry group in Baron's office. Please confirm to office@morningsidepc.org if you plan to attend.

NO NEED TO ENDORSE, JUST NOMINATE!
Nominations are underway and we want to make sure you've made your nominations as well. If you have someone in mind who you think would be an excellent Elder for the Session, Deacon for the Board of Deacons, and/or Member of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee then we want to know who. Nomination forms are in the welcome center and the Narthex. The Officer Nominating Committee will announce the final slate of officers on Sunday, October 16.

PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
Every fall, teachers welcome students and parents to visit classrooms. This year MPP Celebrates it's 15th anniversary and although all are invited, they especially invite all alumni back too. Pre-order Chick-Fil-A dinner and come on out to see alumni, teachers and friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.mThursday, October 20.  Feel free to contact mpp@morningsidepc.org for more details.
