Children
Children will learn about Joseph this month.  This Sunday, they'll hear about him saving the day from Genesis 41. Throughout Joseph's story, God's work is evident, but Joseph did not rely on God to do all of the work. When an opportunity presented itself, Joseph acted.

MONTREAT REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Our congregational retreat in Montreat will be from Friday, October 14 - Sunday, October 16. We frequently fill the William Black Lodge, so don't wait to fill out your registration form. They are available here: www.morningsidepc.org and also in the Narthex and Welcome Center of the Church. Turn them into Alicia Oben in the church office. Our retreat is appropriate for all ages and is a wonderful way to "go deeper" with your church family.
 
VIDEO OF MORNINGSIDES 2016 GALA
The Sounds of Music, is available on the church website: http://www.morningsidepc.org/video. This year's gala featured over 40 Morningside singers, musicians and artists and raised $6,385, which will support Morningside's Music Programs and Mission Ministries.
 
TAI CHI IS BACK AT MORNINGSIDE
Mark your calendars because Tai Chi, which is taught by Bob Wells, rejoins us starting on Tuesday, September 20 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome to participate! 
 
CLIFTON ANNOUNCEMENT
Please join us in preparing and serving a meal for the men of Clifton Sanctuary Ministries on Saturday, September 24 at 5:30 p.m. Meal service begins at 6 p.m.and lasts for an hour. WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE
Rachel Spears will be our speaker on Monday, September 26 to talk about her work as Executive Director of the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. PBPA connects volunteer attorneys with Georgia nonprofits in need of free business legal services. Come for dinner and fellowship at 6:30 p.m. This month's host is Lynn Young, 277 The Prado 30309. NEW GREETERS NEEDED
The goal of a church greeter is to be the first face of warmth that our members and visitors experience. We are in need of new greeters and would like to extend the invitation to you. We're asking for a once-a-month commitment of 20-30 minutes before Sunday worship. If interested, please contact Bill and Sanda Means billmeans@bellsouth.net.
 
MISSION TRIP COMING SOON
