On this National Teacher Appreciation Day, join MPP in celebrating all 15 of their fabulous teachers: Betsy, Courtney, Daniela, Deb, Debbi, Deena, Erin, Gillian, Heather, Jill, Julie Ann, Kay, Kim, Mary Hardy, Morgan.  As we near the end of school, we are so grateful for all they do for our children each and every day!

VBS is on it's way and we're looking for those who feel moved to stand up for our littlest ones! We have two unfilled slots on the new Vacation Bible School Leadership team.  If you are interested in becoming a Bible Coordinator or a Decorations Coordinator, please contact Sarah Tomaka sarah.tomaka@gmail.comor Sarah Kate DeWyngaert sarahkate@morningsidepc.org.
Even though it may not look like much construction has started, demolition is complete in the classrooms and Women's restroom, the electricians have begun working on the new classroom lighting and framing of the hallway ceilings will begin later this week.  The Women's Restroom is now closed for use.  Continue to use the main floor corridor to traverse this end of the building during weekday office hours.  The lower level corridor will remain open for use during the evenings and weekends.
Want to learn about the Zika virus and how it may impact our lives?  If so, then you need to come to our last meeting before taking off for the summer on Wednesday, May 11.  Our presenter is Dr. Joanna Gaines, Ph.D., Senior Epidemiologist, US Public Health Service at the CDC. Dr. Gaines will repeat a presentation that she did recently at a national conference entitled, "What We Know, and What Faith and Community Organizations Should Know, about Zika."  Please rsvp to rsbrownlee1046@att.net so we can get a count for food.
