"One act of obedience is better than one hundred sermons."   -Dietrich Bonhoeffer

RHO READERS
Morningside's eclectic book bunch visits the Classic Age of adventure novels and welcomes Dr. Ellen Stockstill to lead our discussion of She: A History of Adventure by  H. Rider Haggard on Sunday, April 17, at 12:30 p.m. in the Session Room.  We encourage first-timers!

YOGA AND WEIGHTS
Late Spring Yoga and Weights to the Oldies resumes next Tuesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 21.  Yoga class will meet Tuesday Mornings at 11 a.m. in room 201, followed by Weights to the Oldies on Thursday Mornings at 11 a.m. in room 201 as well.  All are welcome to join the fun, and please wear comfortable clothing. For questions, contact Pam Sharpe yogapam@bellsouth.net.

MPP SUMMER CAMP
All Toddler and Twos camps have gone to waiting lists, but we are likely to add extra classes weeks 2-4, so let us know of your interest.  There are a few remaining openings most weeks for those completing Threes and PreK classes. Visit the preschool page (www.morningsidepc.org/preschool) for registration forms and for further details about camps.  Contact Director Melinda Sandkam at mpp@morningsidepc.org for details on availability.

MPP'S SPRING FLING
Morningside Presbyterian Preschool presents "Spring Fling" Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.  There will be bounce houses, a petting zoo, a train, face painting and more! The event invites all, not just preschoolers and their families, so invite your neighbors, bring your children and grandchildren, or even volunteer for a shift!  Contact Melinda for information on raffle tickets. We also welcome sponsors for our fun activities.  Fundraising is an important part of our annual budget and recent efforts have funded items such as the expansion and improvement of the playground.

BIBLE SUNDAY
On Sunday, May 1, all Fourth and Fifth Grade students will have the opportunity to participate in Bible Sunday.  MPC Children's Ministry wants every child to have their own Bible, and we want to make sure that every child who walks through our doors has the opportunity to learn and discover the wonderful messages from God that we find in the Bible.  During the 11 a.m. worship service, the Fourth and Fifth Graders will receive their Bibles as a gift from the congregation.

INTOWN COLLABORATIVE MINISTRIES
Support Intown Collaborative Ministries by attending the 4th annual Arts and Eats Fundraiser on Sunday, May 1st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Atlanta History Center.  Advanced tickets are $85 per person until March 31st.  Please visit for more details and tickets, or contact LauraUlep@gmail.com.  We're also collecting 100 wine bottles in the Welcome Center until Sunday, April 24.
