This Sunday, we begin an ongoing study called "Transforming Conflicts". This is a three-week series facilitated by Anna Miles at 9:45 a.m in Room 201. This weeks topic is "Defining Conflict". Anna will explore our personal definition of conflicts and God's definition of conflict as seen in creation.

Children
The Pre-K class will learn about "The Lord's Prayer."

THEOLOGY ON TAP
The next Theology on Tap gathering will be tomorrow, February 2, at 7 p.m. Peter Cobb will host (1150 St. Charles Place, Atlanta, GA 30306). The program, delivered by Baron Mullis, will be "That's going to get me in some serious trouble..." Jesus applies the Sermon on the Mount to when the Gospel calls us to living dangerously. RSVP to the church office
LAST CALL FOR CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH RSVPS
To celebrate Anna's seven years of service as she retires, we will honor her with a special 11 a.m. service, with Joanna Adams preaching, and a retirement luncheon this Sunday, March 6. The church will provide Fox Brothers' Barbecue  and the congregation is asked to bring a covered dish. A-O, bring a salad or side to share, and P-Z, bring a dessert to share. RSVP's help us to order the right amount of food and are received at office@morningsidepc.org
 
ONE GRAY HAIR
One Gray Hair will meet Wednesday, March 9, at noon in Fellowship Hall for lunch and program. Our program will be trip highlights from Emilie Paille and Jeanne McCarthy's "Around the world, trip of a lifetime". Don't miss this!! RSVP to Sarah Brownlee at rsbrownlee1046@att.net.
 
ALL-AGE MISSION EVENT
Next Sunday, March 13, MPC will kick off its all age mission event by walking together at Atlanta's Hunger Walk. Folks are invited to wear their walking/running clothes to worship. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
We need volunteers, ages 16 and up, to help build a home for Ms. Angela Banks and her five children. PRESCHOOL INVITES MPC OPINIONS 
Church members are invited to help Morningside's Preschool develop its next three-year strategic plan. Focus-group sessions will be held in Room 107 on Monday, March 14 at 9 a.m.; Wednesday, March 16 at 7 p.m.; and Thursday, March 17 at 9 a.m. 

PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION 
Camp is offered on a week-by-week basis for five summer weeks (sessions are four days on the weeks containing Memorial Day and Fourth of July). The registration deadline is March 18. Go to the preschool pages at www.morningsidepc.org for details. 
 
THE ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT IS COMING UP!
This year it will be held on March 26 at 11 a.m. on the front lawn of the church. All are invited to the great egg race! Crafts for the kids, coffee for the adults, and cookies for all is part of this annual event! If you would like to volunteer to help with the hunt email sarahkate@morningsidepc.orgWe will be collecting filled-eggs in the narthex and welcome center for the next month.   

VBS   
The fun begins Monday, June 13, and ends Friday, June 17. VBS is for children in rising Pre-K who will be 4 by September 1, through rising 5th graders. Child care will be available for children of volunteers who are younger than 4 years old. A lot of adult and youth volunteers are needed!
