The annual fundraising gala for Our House is this Saturday, February 27, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Atlanta History Center. Tickets may be purchased at www.ourhousega.org or at the event. Our House is a child care and support center serving homeless families. Proceeds will be used to support their programs and services.

To celebrate Anna's seven years of service as she retires, we will honor her with a special 11 a.m. service, with Joanna Adams preaching, and a retirement luncheon on Sunday, March 6. The church will provide Fox Brothers' Barbecue (Anna's favorite) and the congregation is asked to bring a covered dish. A-O, please bring a salad or side to share, and P-Z, please bring a dessert to share. RSVP's help us to order the right amount of food and are received at office@morningsidepc.org
On Sunday, March 13, MPC will kick off its all age mission event by walking together at Atlanta's Hunger Walk. Folks are invited to wear their walking/running clothes to worship. Following worship we will make our way to Turner Field's Green Lot. Onsite registration begins at 12 noon. The 5K Fun Run commences, followed by the Walk.  You can join the Morningside Team (part of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta's team) by following this link and clicking "Join Team."  Proceeds benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Intown Collaborative Ministries. For information contact Tony Fishpaw tonyfishpaw@me.com or Jack Klotz jacksklotz@gmail.com.

Morningside will begin its 17th home with Habitat for Humanity soon. Along with five area churches, we will build a home for Ms. Angela Banks and her children. The build schedule is February 27, March 5, 12, 19, (skipping March 26 for Easter), April 2, 9, and 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We welcome all volunteers age 16 and up.  To volunteer, go to  www.morningside pres.atlantahabitat.volunteerhub.com, see Mission bulletin board signup sheets, or contact Adrienne Mogge, adriennemogge@gmail.com.
It's not time yet... but it's not too early to start bringing in the eggs.  It will take close to three thousand eggs to pull off our much-beloved community-wide Easter Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter, and we can't do it without you.  Please begin bringing your pre-filled eggs to church starting this Sunday - no peanuts. Specially decorated receptacles will be waiting.  Look for the sign-up sheets and sign-up genius soon to come!  Even if you don't have children, you won't want to miss this.

Morningside Presbyterian Church invites all children to get ready to catch the wave of God's amazing love at Surf Shack Vacation Bible School! The fun begins Monday, June 13, and ends Friday, June 17. VBS is for children in rising Pre-K who will be 4 by September 1, through rising 5th graders. Child care will be available for children of volunteers who are younger than 4 years old. A lot of adult and youth volunteers are needed! To be a part of all the excitement at Surf Shack VBS, visit our VBS website,
