THORNWELL OFFERING

On Sunday morning, July 26,  we invite you to participate in a special offering for Thornwell Home for Children.

This is a Presbyterian home in Clinton, South Carolina where at least 100 children from infants to teenagers stay each year.  Some stay for only a few months, others grow up at Thornwell.

During Mission Camp, our attendees decorated the envelopes found in your bulletins.  Please give generously to this special offering - cash or checks to MPC with "Thornwell" in the memo line.

HYMN SING THIS SUNDAY
Don't miss worship this Sunday, July 26 when you are in charge of hymn selection! You will have the opportunity to call out your favorites for the congregation to sing.

"THIS I BELIEVE..." SUNDAY
The phrase "this I believe"  prompts various responses from all of us. Some think of Starbucks cups, others of Edward R. Murrow, and many of us remember the services at MPC where fellow congregants told us what they held as core values. This I Believe Sunday, featuring Morningside members speaking from their hearts will be Sunday, August 23.
