THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart. - Mahatma Gandhi

THANK YOU
There are not adequate words to express my deepest gratitude for the love, generosity and thoughtfulness that went into the ten weeks of celebrating my 10th year here at MPC. Every gift was very much appreciated and Sunday's touching recognition in worship, delicious and fun lunch with music, and basket of memories which also included a very generous love offering were overwhelming. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. - Melinda Sandkam

STOCK SENIOR EMERGENCY PANTRY
We are in the final days of collecting requested items for the emergency pantry at Calvin Court Senior Community. Current prioritized needs are: canned fruit, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, crackers; less needed but still welcome: tuna fish, soups (low sodium also helpful), canned vegetables.
