The Session has called a congregational meeting for this Sunday, May 3immediately following worship for the purpose of filling a vacancy in the 2015 class of Deacons. 

Through the end of April, we invite you to bring non-perishable items for Intown Collaborative Ministries food pantry (canned meats, hearty soups, peanut butter, canned fruit and vegetables). This Sunday, May 3, 4-7 p.m. is the annual ICM Arts & Eats fundraiser. This annual benefit has changed locations to a bigger, better venue - the Atlanta Historical Society! Find tickets and more info at intowncm.organd join us this Sunday!
Plan to eat dinner at Woodfire Grill (1782 Cheshire Bridge Rd., 30324) on Thursday, May 7 and 20% of your bill will go to Morningside Presbyterian Preschool.  Be sure to mention that you are with MPP when you make a reservation (404.347.9055).

Mark your calendars for May's musical gala I've Heard That Song Before-Morningside Sings Jule Styne with the creative team of Organist/Choirmaster Mason Copeland, and Morningside members Derek Matthews and Jeff Peters with a total cast of 23 from our music programs and congregation. Invite your neighbors and friends and join us in Morningside's Sanctuary next Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. Reception follows in the Welcome Center.  

Don't forget to mark June 15-19 on your calendars for Vacation Bible School for four year olds by September 1 through 5th grade. Mission Camp is July 20-24 for those who have completed 2nd through 6th grade. Registration forms are on the church website and bulletin boards (scholarships available). Final registration deadline for VBS is May 17 and May 31 for Mission Camp.

You are invited to join other MPC members and friends on Wednesday, June 17 at the Marietta City Club. There will be men's and women's divisions. Tee off at 1 p.m. Lunch will be available in the grill from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The practice range and putting greens will be available. At the conclusion of the event, we will return to the grill to award prizes (low gross, low net, longest drive, closest to the pin, etc.). The cost is $55 per person which includes 18 hole greens fee, range balls, and golf cart. Registration forms (deadline is May 19) are available in the Welcome Center.
