The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people. - G.K. Chesterton

Session has approved the hiring of an additional Morningside staff member to focus on the spiritual needs of families and their children age birth-fifth grade. Thank you to so many of you for supporting this effort financially and for making the future of families and children at Morningside a priority. One of the first steps toward hiring this individual is to create a job description for the Search Committee to use for candidate selection. Your input and feedback are vital to the success of this hiring process. We want to hear from you regarding what you envision this person doing for you, your family and for future families and children at Morningside. You are invited to a listening session on Wednesday, April 15, from 7-9 p.m. in Room 201 (upstairs and across from Drew's office). Morningside member and executive recruiting specialist Kathy Bremer will lead the meeting and will ultimately give the feedback to the Search Committee to complete a final job description. No reservations required.

Come join us for breakfast and fellowship this Wednesday, April 15, at 7 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Coffee, a good breakfast, a devotional, and encouraging, lively discussion-what better way to recharge midway through the week?  Contact Allen Burke allen_n_burke@hotmail.com to RSVP or with any questions.

Spring Yoga at Morningside will begin its 4th year Tuesday, April 21 in Room 201 at 11 a.m.!  And its compliment, Weights to the Oldies, will begin April 23.  Please join teacher Pam Sharpe, and her wonderful students for all the fun and benefits that yoga and weight training can bring. For questions, please contact Pam Sharpe yogapam@bellsouth.net.
