This Sunday, January 25, 
Peter Tuuk and Peter Cobb will begin a month-long series on the Book of Confessions. Everyone is invited to join the class for one or all of the classes at 9:45 a.m. in Room 201.

The Preschool Class will hear A Little Lunch and learn how a boy helped Jesus feed a great crowd.
In John 1:35-51 the elementary classes will learn how the disciples chose to follow Jesus.

All are welcome to the free event hosted by Central Outreach and Advocacy Center and Presbyterians for a Better Georgia this Thursday, January 22, from 6-8:30 p.m. The kickoff will be at Central Presbyterian Church (201 Washington Street) with free parking available at the GA Dept. of Public Safety Garage (180 Central Avenue).  RSVP to Sharon Damelio at 404.601.3110 or sdamelio@centraloac.org (donations for dinner suggested). More details available in MPC's Narthex and Welcome Center.


A free recital in our Sanctuary this Saturday, January 24, at 4 p.m. will present not only our Organist/Choirmaster Mason Copeland in concert, but also a fellow graduate of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Joshua C. Bullock. Everyone is invited to come revel in the music. Both are members of the American Guild of Organists and hold recent master's degrees in organ performance from the Jacobs School. Mason and Josh promise to give full range to our Wicks-Coulter pipe organ.

Lydia Circle will serve dinner to men at JOURNEY on February 8; and everyone will have an opportunity to donate pajamas for children served by THREADS outreach February 1-17.



The next opportunity to join Morningside Presbyterian Church will be Sunday, February 8.  We will offer an Inquirers' Class on Sunday, February 1, which is your chance to know more about the history of Morningside, ask questions, learn a bit about the history of Presbyterianism and meet some people. On February 8, we have an orientation to the ministries of Morningside followed by an opportunity to join the church.  For more information, contact Baron Mullis (baron.mullis@morningsidepc.org) in the church office.
