Join us as we explore current trends and the shape of things that draw us rather than drive us into new ways of being. Rev. Armstrong is a friend of Morningside and on the front lines of fresh expressions of church as the Executive Director of the New Church Development Commission of our presbytery.

CHILDREN
The preschool class will discuss the way people are to care for God's world as they respond to Take Good Care of My World!
Elementary classes will continue their worship with the reading of 2 Kings 4:1-7 to learn how Elisha answered the pleas of a widow.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference. - Elie Wiesel

THANKSGIVING AT CLIFTON
We're doing Thanksgiving a bit Southern this year for the 30 men staying at Clifton Sanctuary Ministries. We have the fried chicken and sweet tea, but need help with the sides. Please check out the sign up sheet in the hallway and email David Johnston dmjohnst@gmail.com if you can bring anything to the shelter at 5:45 p.m. this Saturday, November 22. You can drop off the food or stay for fellowship with the men during dinner, which usually lasts less than an hour. It's a perfect opportunity to go out with friends afterward at the nearby restaurants in Candler Park!
