SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK-OFF AND CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

  • Don't miss the celebration of a new school year. On Sunday, August 10, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall, kids of all ages are invited to a light breakfast and fun activities with their parents. There will be face painting, animal costumes, games, music with Mrs. Shipley and "moving up" to new classes.
  • Following worship on Sunday, August 10, we will take a congregational vote to call Rev. Drew Stockstill to become our full-time Associate Pastor. Please be here for this important meeting.

SIX STAR
The Six Star Refugee Partnership will receive a new family this summer, and we need to stock a new apartment to welcome the family. Needs include twin, double or queen bed frames (we are required by law to buy new mattresses), sofa, chairs, lamps, end tables, bedroom furniture, etc. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up furniture. If you have any furniture to donate, or are interested in helping, please contact Holly Campbell hollycampbell1@gmail.com or 404.435.0676.

AUGUST CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH
Please respond by August 18, if you plan to attend the congregational lunch after worship on Sunday, August 24. Expect a fun, casual, end-of-year theme, as well as a report from our youth about their summer trips.
