This Sunday, April 27 Drew Stockstill will begin a four week class, "Life after Easter: A look at Resurrection Theology" in Room 201 at 9:45 a.m.  

Today preschool children will learn about Jesus' Ascension in the story Good-bye for Now. All elementary classes will learn how Ruth promised to stay with Naomi, and the two helped each other in tough circumstances.

The trucks return to Morningside's parking lot this Thursday, April 24 from 5 to 8 p.m.  Looking forward to the return of On Tapa the World and SnoBayouwith two more trucks, Freckled and Blue and Grilldabeast, also coming out for the evening! Please join us on the 24th and the fourth Thursday of each month for a tasty supper without all the fuss!

Join an MPC team to assist with light repairs and yard work to help a senior in Fulton County stay in their home through the HOMES program. Join the youth families this Sunday, April 27 from 3-4:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall as we shower Chris Peters and Lauren Van Wicklen with good wishes for a happy life together and gifts to help them get settled in a home of their own. Contact the church office for more information on where the couple is registered. 

We're shaking things up this month! Members and friends are invited to join in for an evening of food and fun at Eclipse di Luna (764 Miami Circle 30324) onMonday, April 28 at 7 p.m.  $20 per person for unlimited tapas.  RSVP to Sarah Brownlee at rsbrownlee1046att.net.

Twenty-five singers and musicians from Morningside are busy preparing the Spring Gala Benefit "The Way You Look Tonight, Morningside Sings Jerome Kern." Classic American songs included in the performance are Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, Pick Yourself Up, All the Things You Are and The Last Time I Saw Paris. Donations received at the performance will enhance the community ministries which Morningside supports. The performance is at 7:30 p.m.  Invite your friends and neighbors! 


Attend the ICM Arts and Eats fundraiser, a fun event with entertainment and great auction items, on Sunday, May 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hellenic Center on Clairmont Road.
