Adults: We welcome John Blevins, Assoc. Research Professor at Emory's Rollins School of Public Health as we examine intersections between religion and public health in both domestic and international contexts. In what new ways can we think about God's mission through faith and public health?

Children: The Preschool Class will hear A Little Lunch and learn how a boy helped Jesus feed a great crowd. Elementary Classes will read Matthew 6:25-34 in which Jesus teaches his followers to trust in God's care for them.

We meet tonight at the home of David Wingert, 1366 Harvard Rd. Atlanta 30306.

SEASON OF SERVICE
This Sunday, Feb. 9, we continue the Season of Service with special offerings for both adults and children in the 9:45 hour. Upcoming opportunities include the Young Adults serving at Journey Sunday evening, tours of outreaches tomorrow morning, Wednesday, Feb. 5, and next Tuesday, Feb. 11, 9 a.m. - noon, and our family service event this Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Season of Service is a challenge to you and your friends to participate in the wide variety of mission work MPC is involved with. Find time to check out a new outreach or bring an old friend or new member with you as you help out - meet the Plus 1 challenge! MPC hopes you will get connected while helping those in need. Be sure to pick up your MPC Outreach t-shirt from the stage in the Fellowship Hall.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING THIS SUNDAY
Please plan to stay after worship this Sunday for an important congregational meeting. The Session will present the approved budget, and the congregation will vote on the terms of call for the senior pastor.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING
2014 is starting off as a great year for caring, if not so great for the Broncos. Our youth collected over $800 after worship last Sunday. This offering supports the Atlanta Community Food Bank in its work to help hungry Georgians.

VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT CARDS
Please show some Valentine love for the women at Shearith Israel Shelter by purchasing a $10 gift card to CVS, Publix, Target, etc. Place your gifts in the Mission bulletin board Valentine basket by this Sunday, Feb. 9. Our children will make beautiful handmade cards to accompany the gift cards in time for special delivery Feb. 14.

GIGI'S PLAYHOUSE
Join the Preschool community in support of Gigi's Playhouse, a Down Syndrome education center located in Amsterdam Walk. Your donations of supplies (Clorox wipes, tissues, baby wipes and hand sanitizer) can be placed in the baskets in the Welcome Center by Feb. 12.

OUR SYMPATHY TO
Jack and Jill Klotz on the death of Jack's sister Holly Klotz, who died Sunday, February 2.
