Intown Community Assistance

Intown Community Assistance (ICA) is a non-profit ecumenical ministry that serves the poor and needy in Intown Atlanta (primarily the 30306 and 30307 zipcodes). They are supported financially by 14 local churches. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and serve 25 people per day. They are located at 670 Seminole Ave., behind the Druid Hills Baptist Church.

Morningside’s participation:

Our first year working with ICA, Morningside collected boardgames, bibles, and  backpacks to meet a current need. We then spent two workdays in the fall cleaning, painting, and organizing at the shelter. We continue to partner with ICA in reaching out to those here in our neighborhood facing challenges that range from paying rent and utilities to finding food to eat. We will accept any unused or gently used goods that you would like to donate. Our list of needs changes regularly, so please check back often.
