Adopt-A-Grandparent

Morningside’s Participation
In the fall of 2007, Morningside was pleased to add the Adopt-a-grandparent program to our missions.  We collected $10 CVS cards for holiday gift bags in order to help seniors in need pay for expensive prescriptions.  And, we donated baked goods for their annual holiday luncheon.  There are continuing opportunities to work with the Wisdom of the Ages program, recording the stories of seniors.  Both interview skills and technical ability are welcome along with those willing to provide transportation. 
 
How to Get Involved
Be a part of our growing involvement with this vital outreach.  Let us know if you can interview, record or drive seniors for Wisdom of Ages program.  In November, sign up to provide a dessert item.  Be a part of the team that delivers desserts.  Donate a $10 CVS cards in November to assist in filling 60 gift bags.
