Morningside Presbyerian Church's doors are open to everyone as we strive to live out our motto: Welcome All. Serve All. Visit the pages in this section to learn more about us and our church home. Under the Worship heading, you'll find details about what to expect during our worship service and be able to sample our exceptional music and sermons.
When you become interested in a deeper connection to Morningside as a church member — or just want to learn more about us first-hand — we offer an Inquirers Class on selected Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in the Session Room. A New Members Class then takes place one week later, at the same time and place.
In the Inquirers Class, our pastor leads discussions about faith and commitment and what it means to be a Presbyterian in the Reform Theology tradition. Anyone interested in these topics is welcome to attend. If and/or when you decide to join our church family, please come to the New Member Class, where Elders share insights about life at Morningside. In the New Member Class you will get answers to your questions about our church and get acquainted with some of our lay leaders. We will also share information about how to get connected through the various ministries of Morningside. The Session meets immediately after the New Members Class to receive new members, who are then introduced to the congregation during worship.
If you are thinking about joining Morningside on our next New Member Sunday, please be in touch with our Senior Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Baron Mullis.
