THE CALL TO CONFESSION

THE PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Eternal God, remind us of our baptism as we prepare to come to your table.
Remind us of your unconditional love that we might consider our lives, acknowledge
the places where we need correction, find forgiveness for our sins,
and turn to the path you would have us follow. We ask these things because we
know that we have sinned and we need forgiveness. Renew our hearts and our
minds so that we might be the disciples you have called and offer the grace we
have received to others. We pray this in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

A MOMENT OF SILENCE (for examination of conscience and personal prayers of confession)

THE ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Leader: If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see: everything has become new.
People: All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
Leader: Believe the promise of the Gospel:
People: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! - 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
